FORMER Southern Grampians Shire Council (SGSC) chief executive, Michael Tudball, is set to be appointed as acting chief executive of Corangamite Shire Council this week, subject to the councillors’ vote at its ordinary meeting.
A spokesperson for Corangamite Shire confirmed that a recommendation had been made to appoint Mr Tudball.
“The expectation is that it will sail through unanimously,” the spokesperson said.
Mr Tudball has been employed in a senior position at Regional Roads Victoria as director of Barwon South West Region since August 2021, following his resignation from SGSC.
He commenced as chief executive of the Southern Grampians Shire in March 2016, preceded by four and a half years with Melton City Council, and seven years prior to that in the State Government with Victorian Communities and Planning & Community Development.
