FORMER Hamilton art teacher, the late Terry Sellars, was an inspiration behind Warrnambool’s Gareth Colliton, who has been awarded Warrnambool Citizen of the Year, for his voluntary services to the arts.

Hamilton born and bred, Mr Colliton attributed a mixture of things that had inspired his work as an accomplished artist, family and teachers among them, that had cumulatively led to the point of such esteemed recognition by his community.
