COMMUNITY focused individuals and organisations were recognised for their outstanding efforts at Moyne Shire Council’s Australia Day event on Thursday, with a champion of education taking out the title of 2023 Citizen of the Year.

Koroit’s Alistair McCosh was announced Moyne Shire Council’s 2023 Citizen of the Year during the official ceremony at Koroit’s Village Green, in recognition for his involvement in various community groups and projects.
