A FORMER Hamilton based horse trainer who is facing sexual assault charges will be allowed to return to New Zealand after a successful bail application last week.

Craig Thornton, 56, appeared at the Warrnambool Magistrates’ Court on Friday where his successful application to vary his bail conditions means he will be able to go to New Zealand after a $100,000 surety is lodged.
