Ingredients:
350g / 12½ oz / 1 cup golden syrup
2 lemons, zest and juice
100g / 3½ oz / 1⅓ cups brown breadcrumbs
Clotted cream to serve
FOR THE PASTRY:
100g / 3½ oz / ½ cup butter, cubed and chilled
200g / 7 oz / 1⅓ cups wholemeal flour
