SIGNAGE on the front windows of the Hamilton branch of Westpac angered local customers who, for the second time in recent months, found the branch unexpectedly shut on Thursday.

Three signs with varying information regarding opening hours only served to confound some people who had gathered outside the branch expecting it to be open.
