Coleraine becomes a Heart Safe Community

COLERAINE locals have learnt the skills necessary to respond to out of hospital cardiac arrest situations, after the first public session of the state-wide Heart Safe Community program occurred this week.

The session took place on Wednesday morning at the Coleraine Uniting Church Hall with members from the Coleraine Probus Club meeting with two local Ambulance Victoria employees to learn about cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) use.
