REGIONAL Australia - including the Western District - will be better positioned in areas including housing, worker shortages, and education after the National Alliance for Regionalism was launched earlier this week.

More than 30 chief executives from the most influential peak bodies met in Canberra on Tuesday for the Alliance’s historic launch, after it was established by the Regional Australia Institute (RAI).
