Helping motorists take a break

READY to serve people heading away on holidays at two sites on the Glenelg Highway are volunteers for the Driver Reviver program.

At Warrayure, about halfway between Dunkeld and Hamilton, Mick Mibus, Joyce Tonissen and Elmore Tonissen will be part of the crew ready to serve passing motorists for a cuppa and bikkie from tomorrow over the Easter weekend.

There will also be a site open at Coleraine just as you enter into town. The program has been operating since 1989 and aims to provide opportunities for local communities to reduce fatigue-related road trauma.
