DESPITE the challenges resulting from the pandemic, Coleraine Primary School’s (CPS) 2022 Year 3 and 5 students achieved high results in NAPLAN (The National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy), with the school attracting the attention of senior staff within the Department of Education.

While COVID-19 saw schools thrown in the deep end with the introduction of remote learning, CPS principal Sally Mason said this did not negatively impact the students who still received “outstanding” 2022 NAPLAN results.
