AS demand for qualified nurses reaches record highs across south-west Victoria, and shortfalls hit aged care services particularly hard, South West TAFE is organising information sessions for their Diploma of Nursing course to attract new students.

The Diploma of Nursing is again being offered as a free TAFE course in 2023, with regional health service representatives saying capable graduates are virtually guaranteed a job as enrolled nurses (ENs).
