RECENTLY elected Victorian upper house member Jacinta Ermacora visited Portland on Monday, to celebrate the significant cut in fares with local bus users.

Since the start of the month, the most a full fare passenger can spend to travel anywhere in the state in a day is $9.20, or $4.60 for a concession, and less again on weekends or public holidays.
