ANGER concerning plans to build hundreds of new kilometres of high voltage transmission lines continues to grow as The Nationals recently met with Victorian farmers to discuss the issue.
Speaking in Charlton, 100 kilometres north of Bendigo, The Nationals leader David Littleproud said the $3.3 billion Victoria to New South Wales Interconnector West project, connecting to the Western Renewables Link, would be the biggest expense in the Victorian transmission system in more than 50 years.
