AFTER the decapitation of his prized carved cypress tree ram that marked the entrance to his property along the highway, east of Narrawong, Peter ‘Splinter’ Bryant said the world just didn’t feel right.

For 15 years the ram kept watch at the end of Mr Bryant and his wife Sandra’s driveway, a spectacle for visitors and a sign for locals returning from the east that they were nearly home.
