THE Hamilton Lions Club has contributed $8090 to the Hamilton Scouts Group Equipment Storage Shed Appeal.

The Lions Club became aware that the Hamilton Scout Group were raising funds for their new equipment storage shed to enable their range of Scouting program equipment to be stored in the one location and allow easy and safe access when required.

Hamilton Lions Club president, Kevin Kavanagh, said the contribution of $8090 included $4090 from the proceeds of a Lions Club raffle and $4000 from the Australian Lions Foundation.

“We are very proud to be able to assist with the purchase of this much needed shed which will be a real asset to all sections of the Group, including Joeys, Cubs, Scouts, leaders, parents and also the wider community for many years to come,” he said.
