MEET Portland Foreshore’s newest art installation Ralph the Rock Rattler.

The snake is a collaborative project led by the local community, put together with rocks and stones painted by locals.

The idea was suggested by a local on Facebook, which then lead to many others agreeing it was a positive proposition.

Everyone young or old seems to be getting creative and adding to the ever-growing snake - perhaps it will follow the length of the foreshore footpath.
