IT’S 20 years since the establishment of our much-loved local school-based mentoring program Standing Tall in Hamilton Inc. (STiH) began.
Over that time, STiH has grown in earnest beginning with one employee, then two, and now the opportunity for a third to join the dedicated team has arisen, made possible with support from Beyond the Bell’s the Level Up Project, which has received funding from the Australian Government.
STiH has a vacancy for a program officer for a suitable individual who is passionate and wants to contribute to the lives of young people in our community.
STiH program manager, Dee Barrera, said as program officer, the successful candidate would play a vital role in supporting the implementation of their program.

The position is a new, part-time role, 20 hours per fortnight.
The program officer will work closely with the program manager and program coordinator to organise activities, engage with volunteer mentors, students and schools, and ensure the continued successful delivery of the mentor program.
