ONE of the major brands of fuel outlets in the region is hoping to get a boost in the reliability of its petrol and diesel availability with a change in ownership happening this week.
The Mobil service stations in Hamilton, Dunkeld, Coleraine and Casterton have been having supply issues for an extended period and are hoping for an improvement with fuel deliveries and service.
The Coleraine location especially has been a regular topic of interest and disquiet for the locals on social media for an extended period of time, with no fuel, or limited fuel available for consecutive days regularly.
A shortage of truck drivers since the lockdowns during COVID-19 have been blamed as a major factor for the situation.
