A REMARKABLE and immersive journey into the heart of agriculture unfolded on Monday, July 31 as Year 9 students from six local schools ventured out of their classrooms to explore the fascinating world of agriculture.

The annual Careers in Agriculture Taster Day, organised by the Glenelg and Southern Grampians Local Learning and Employment Network (GSGLLEN) in collaboration with Rural Industries Skills Training (RIST), welcomed 30 students who were eager to discover the boundless career prospects within the agricultural sector.
