ON Monday afternoon at the Innovations Stage, legal firm Sinclair Wilson hosted a presentation about the current factors impacting agribusiness, with Morgans Warrnambool and ANZ Hamilton.
Close to 30 people attended the talk, with a focus on how inflation was affecting agribusiness and how people need to be set up for the present, but even more importantly for the future.
Sinclair Wilson stated that all clients were in different positions and emphasised how important it is to have a plan and to know where you are at and to work together to make sure everybody is all on the same page.
A key message was not to believe everything that you read or see and to have an initial conversation to know how you can be assisted.
Over the last 12 months there have been legislative changes that have helped their clients, with employees currently cautious of where the markets currently are at, but still optimistic of where they could be heading.
The presentation gave those that attended an idea of the factors that are currently impacting agribusiness and the best ways to prevent them from impacting their clients.
At the end of the talk there were a few questions asked by the crowd to help the listeners gain a lot of information. Sinclair Wilson also understands that agribusiness is significantly affected by environmental factors and international markets.
