IT might not have the high profile of Anzac or Remembrance Days but Vietnam Veterans’ Day can be every bit or even more moving – and such was the case in Portland on Friday.

About 25 veterans, their families, RSL and Legacy members gathered in the intimate setting of the Vietnam Memorial Garden on Cliff St in chilly conditions for the annual commemoration of those who served in the war from 1962-73.
