CALLING time after 27 years serving Hamilton with his custom framing business in Brown Street on Thursday was David Edwards, having sold the business recently to enter retirement at the ripe-old-age of 74 years.

The local master of augmenting pictures, medals and memorabilia into a presentation worthy of hanging in a prime position on a wall of someone’s home or business has been a responsibility he has taken seriously, and as he reflected on the journey on his last day, it was clear that in talking with him, that journey has been deeply satisfying.
