HAMILTON’S BSA Club held a Memorial Ride on Sunday to mark 12 months since the passing of their mate Roger ‘Raja’ Klobe.
The club left Hamilton at 9am for a cruise along backroads to the first stop at Cavendish’s Bridge Café, with family joining in for the ride on bikes owned by Raja.
The social catchup was a chance to share memories and was a great day amongst friends and family.
The ride then continued on roads that Raja would have travelled many times, up to Victoria Valley, to the base of the Grampians, then stopping for lunch at Freshwater Lake. A quiet retreat with a sausage in bread over a fire was one of Raja’s favourite ways to “escape and chill out with friends”.
As a founding and passionate life member of the BSA Club in Hamilton, he helped organise many rallies and club activities. Raja was also a member of the Norton Owners Club.
He was always proud of his family and work and is missed by all but has left a long-lasting legacy to family and friends.
