IT’S that time of year again with the return of the pleasant musical Sunday afternoons - ‘Music in the Gardens’.

Local audiences can once again make the most of the warmer weather and enjoy live entertainment in the Hamilton Botanic Gardens, beginning next Sunday, between 2-4pm.

Friends of the Botanic Gardens committee member, Jane Heazlewood, was delighted the program had returned and said there would be a different band performing on the following Sundays: December 3, 2023, then in the new year, January 14, February 2 and March 3, 2024.

First off will be MisTaBeaT performing, then old favourites The Evergreens will return to the stage in January. Daryl Parfrey will bring some traditional covers with friend Peter Cook in February, and then in March, Trax will grace the stage with some good foot stomping jazz.

“Share the afternoon with friends and family, bring refreshments and your chair or sit on the grass, and have a great afternoon in our wonderful Botanic Gardens,” Mrs Heazlewood said.

“We look forward to seeing you there.”
