NEW Year’s Eve is set to be a great event this year with Rotary Hamilton organising a fun family night with entertainment, rides, face painting, live music and much more.

With Melville Oval unavailable due to the ongoing upgrade works, Hamilton Showgrounds will host the evening, with the MC for the night, Rev Peter Cook.

The Lions Club will be having a barbeque and other food and drinks will be available.

The activities run from 6-9.45pm, with the Southern Grampians Shire sponsored fireworks going off at 10pm, and a warning for pet owners in the area to make sure they have taken precautions.

Cost is a gold coin donation and a reminder the Showgrounds are an alcohol-free zone.

Note there will be no designated viewing areas surrounding the Showgrounds; patrons are encouraged to enter via the top gate opposite HILAC.
