REGISTRATIONS for the Hamilton Lions Club’s Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) golf day are progressing well with just a week to go until deadline, but more teams would ensure a great day.
To be held at the Hamilton Golf Club, the Ambrose competition is $220 per team of four and will commence on February 4, 2024 at 10am for a shotgun start at 11am.
Hamilton Lions Club member and RCH appeal coordinator, Allan Hadden, said there had been two amounts of money received but the registration form had not.
“We encourage all golfers to get a team together and have a great day of golfing and you will be helping our kids with the Good Friday Appeal,” he said.
“What better incentive is there than that?
“Your support will ensure that our Golf Day will be an annual event, which will ensure the Royal Children’s Hospital will gain substantially over the coming years,” he said.
Mr Hadden encouraged golfers of all grades to make up a team and spend a great day playing golf at the prestigious Hamilton course.
It promises to be a great day for everyone competing whilst generating funds for a worthy cause, with first prize $1000, second prize $500, and third place $200.
Mr Hadden was delighted that so far there had been around $6000 received in sponsorship from Hamilton and district businesses.
“We think that this is a magnificent effort from our businesses and our sponsorship team who have worked hard to achieve these great results.”
Golfers, remember registrations for the golf day close on January 28, 2024.
