Glenelg Hopkins water survey

WITH a view to continually improving their communications within the community, Glenelg Hopkins Catchment Management Authority (GHCMA), has opened a new survey on managing environmental water in the region.

This includes the way in which people find out about water for the environment and their perspective on how GHCMA have been talking about the ways they manage water in the environment.

GHCMA was established by the Victorian State Government in 1997 to manage land and water resources in the south west of the state.

As the caretaker of river health in the region, it has facilitated and carried out works to protect and enhance the quality of water and the condition of rivers, as well as wetlands that range from deep permanent lakes to shallow ephemeral marshes and swamps - fresh or saline, large or small.

The survey should only take less than 10 minutes to complete and it will help GHCMA make sure they are able to keep moving forward and connecting with their community.

The online survey is at bit.ly/GHCMA24survey and closes on Wednesday, January 31.
