WRAPPING up 18 days of film shooting this weekend for the feature-length movie ‘The Returned’ in and around Wannon and Hamilton is a small cast and crew of 19 people, with 12 locals assisting. The filmmakers have been thrilled with some of the results, with golden sunsets and beautiful Australian landscapes augmenting a dramatic story about dealing with grief. The Spectator spoke with writer/director, Ben Pfeiffer, along with the producers and cinematographer to get a deeper insight on the movie and why they chose the area for the location work.
