FOUR occupants of a Kia Sportage were taken to the Hamilton Base Hospital for observation on Monday night following an accident involving two cars on the corner of Bree Road and King Street, Hamilton at about 7pm.
Hamilton Police, SES units and two ambulances attended the scene.
Hamilton Police 1st Constable, Alex Clemens confirmed there were no injuries after the collision involving the Kia and a Nissan Navara that was carrying two passengers.
The Kia was travelling east on King Street and sustained damage to the front end of the vehicle while the Nissan was travelling south on Bree Road and was flipped on its side. Both vehicles were towed away.
“It appears that there was a failure to give way however, it is still an active investigation,” Const Clemens said.
