Twinkle twinkle, big success

ONE-hundred-and-twenty people, including locals, attended the Messier Star Party on Sunday at the Hamilton Harness Racing Club, including Eddie Pang, Mill Park. The hope is to make it an annual event and to double numbers next year, however, there are plans for another astronomy event to take place this August during the National Science Week. There is also momentum for starting an Astronomical Society of Victoria club in Hamilton, joining with other regional towns such as Bendigo, Shepparton and Heathcote.
