THE official opening of the new rose garden next to the fountain is today at the Hamilton Botanic Gardens.
Former Flemington Racecourse “keeper of the roses” for 43 years, Terry Freeman will be an integral part of proceedings; The Friends of the Hamilton Botanic Gardens have been delighted with the progress of the garden and wish to extend their invitation to the public to come along and appreciate the hard work that has been put into the beautiful display.
There will be a coffee van, food and the garden cottage will be open for all to enjoy the Edwardian atmosphere and learn about the history of the garden.
The event starts at 10am followed by the official opening at 11am.
