THE 2024 Macarthur and District Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) Good Friday Appeal was a huge success, with a final total of $40,150.50 raised.

An auction was held alongside Easter raffles and a generous community contribution to reach the impressive total amount.

Macarthur’s RCH coordinator, Sandra Addinsall said that she was very proud of the fantastic effort done by the community to put the money towards the good cause.

“I would like to thank all my collectors and helpers who made this possible- a team effort I am very proud of,” she said.

“Thank you to all the businesses and anybody who contributed towards a very successful auction - we are very appreciative of your ongoing support.

“A shoutout to our auctioneer, Hugh Douglas - thank you!”

There were two overall raffle winners; Jack Jones, who won the Easter Hamper and Di Cowland, who won two nights of accommodation at Bagara Cottage, Halls Gap, donated by Peter and Andrea Drendel.

“The community is always very generous, and ‘we do it for the kids’,” Ms Addinsall concluded.
