VICTORIA Police has released its annual Community Sentiment Survey, which invites all Victorians to share their safety concerns, how they would like to interact with police, and where Victoria Police can focus their efforts to keep our communities safer.
The survey supports the Neighbourhood Policing Framework and is for people of all backgrounds who live, work and socialise in Victoria. It is anonymous and will take around five minutes to complete.
The survey is available through the official Victorian Government consultation website, Engage Victoria at engage.vic.gov.au/vicpol-2024.
Victoria Police says the results of the survey will help inform the initiatives it delivers to keep you and our communities safer.
This includes working with partners on local safety plans to address the issues which are most important to you.
A kit is also available for stakeholders across the community, government and business to use and share.
The kit includes promotional material including flyers, social media tiles for posts and stories, newsletter tiles, and display screen tiles.
Stakeholders and community can help spread the word by promoting the kit through their networks, sharing links to the survey via social media accounts, printing and displaying flyers in public or community spaces, displaying screen tiles on public or community display screens, and/or including a short news item in newsletters.
For more information about the survey please email Victoria Police on sdtcprogram-mgt-off@police.vic.gov.au.
