STRATUS Legal Group Portland are once again doing their part supporting the Cancer Council by hosting a Biggest Morning Tea (BMT) and anyone is invited.
This Thursday, 9am to 10am, the legal team will have homemade sweets and savouries spread out for community members to walk in and indulge.
There is no entry fee, but collection boxes will be present for those considering making a donation.
Goods will be provided by Main Street Café and Stratus Legal staff members, who have been working hard in their kitchens also preparing BMT takeaway boxes.
Last Thursday, Stratus Legal sold 53 boxes for $10 each, raising an overall $530 for the Cancer Council.
Requests for the takeaway boxes this Thursday have since closed.
“Everything is homemade by everyone here, so the staff have all contributed something whether it's sweet or savory and then on the day we put it all together and then it's all sold,” Stratus Legal administration officer Teah Thomson said.
“We’re very thankful to everyone who has already RSVP’d and who has already donated as well.”
The Legal team also thanked Portland Women in Business for helping spread the message about the BMT and for decorating their office to theme.
