Tea, anyone?

BEAUTIFUL and decorative tea cosies were on display at Hamilton Community House to help celebrate the Biggest Morning Tea on Thursday.

Hamilton Community House manager, Deb King said Hamilton Community House had been holding Biggest Morning Teas for years and that it was at least the 19th or 20th they had hosted.

“Cancer is something that affects everybody,” she said.

“One way or another, it has an impact on everyone, directly or even indirectly – even the Royal family.”

Hosting a morning tea is one way to raise funds that go towards the Cancer Council who support people impacted by cancer.

The Cancer Council does this when people need it most by speaking out on behalf of the community on cancer issues, empowering people to reduce their cancer risk, and finding new ways to better detect and treat cancer.
