LAST week, the Hamilton and District Legacy (HDL) club ran a junior public speaking competition that was open to surrounding secondary schools in the district.

The annual competition has provided students between 12 and 14 years of age the opportunity to develop their oral communication, speech writing, public speaking skills, and help the younger generation build confidence and appreciate the ideals of Legacy.
