PENSHURST’S Faith Presser, 19 has turned her hand to different occupations having worked in a local bakery, labouring in a vineyard and helping as a babysitter just to name a few.
Faith enjoys art and painting, “I entered an abstract ink work in the Penshurst Art Show,” she said.
Her creativity has also extended to jewellery making, card design, face painting and even decorating sneakers.
Faith also has a passion for sharing her musical skills while playing the piano at her church.
“I began piano lessons when I was five – I always enjoyed making up little melodies on the piano and I’m (presently) learning the guitar from Kim Pitman - both acoustic and electric,” she enthused.
Faith hopes to pursue a career in veterinary nursing, an interest that has stemmed from her love of the canine species.
She currently has four blue heeler dogs which she named Buster, Rica, Zelda and Boomer.
Faith plans to complete three TAFE courses in veterinary nursing and hopes to begin studying by early next year.
“It’d be great to do the course online so I can keep the jobs going while I study,” she added.
