ON Tuesday, the Balmoral Community College celebrated their 100th day of school for 2024 by doing 100 themed activities, throwing a party for parents to attend and dressing up.
The foundation students dressed up as what they would like to be when they grow up - included in the bright and colourful costumes was a PE teacher, a beekeeper, paramedic, singer and an equine farmer.
“The day went really well!” Balmoral Community College foundation teacher, Sarah Edward said.
“We started off by making a paper chain with 100 links.
“Then we ventured to the Food Tech room to make fairy bread and fruit skewers for our party.
“At the party there was dancing, pass the parcel and a pasta necklace craft.
“The students had an excellent day and it was so wonderful to see so many parents at the party.”
