WANNON MP, Dan Tehan has encouraged local road users to take part in a national road survey after Victoria experienced a nine per cent increase in road deaths over the 12 months to June 30.
Recently released figures from the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts show that for the 12 months to the end of June 2024, 1310, people died on Australian roads, representing a 11.7 per cent increase on the previous corresponding period.
