THE Miners Rest-based Malakai Stud won both Champion Ewe and Champion Ram in the Valais Blacknose section of the Virbac Sheep Show. Malakai is the largest Valais Blacknose stud in Australia with over 70 sheep and this was the first time the rare and charming breed has been at Sheepvention. They were introduced to Australia only two years ago and have aroused great interest, especially among children.
