Local student claims public speaking state title

MONIVAE College Year 9 student, Shannon Mhasho demonstrated an outstanding effort last Wednesday when she won first place in the Legacy Junior Public Speaking State Finals in Ballarat.

After missing the State Finals last year, it was rewarding when the 14-year-old Hamilton local took out her first State Final public speaking win last week.
