Local student claims public speaking state title

MONIVAE College Year 9 student, Shannon Mhasho demonstrated an outstanding effort last Wednesday when she won first place in the Legacy Junior Public Speaking State Finals in Ballarat.

Previously claiming runners-up for the competition in Year 7, it was rewarding when the 14-year-old Hamilton local took out her first State Final public speaking win last week.
