Banding together for an ensemble

COGNISANT of a gap in local music, a few likeminded wind, brass and percussion musicians have decided to fill the void and band together to form the Hamilton and District Concert Band (HDCB).

HDCB chair and trombone player, Chris Cole, got together with conductor/musical director, and bassoon player, Matt Toffolon, and formed a committee of keen musos to play it by ear and see what happens.
