Church Spring Market and Garage Sale

ON Saturday, November 9 from 9.30am to 1.30pm, the Hamilton Baptist Church (HBC) will be running their Spring Market and Garage Sale.

After much success last year, the HBC decided to once again run the family event which will exhibit garage sale items along with various market stalls run by locals on the church’s premises (48-50 Gray Street).

HBC event volunteer, Matt Frost said he was looking forward to putting on a great event and the HBC being a presence in the community.

“A reason to come would be to support your local stall holders and the church while grabbing a bargain, with something available for all age groups,” Mr Frost said.

“Last year the bakers store and barbeque were very popular.”

There will also be several kids’ crafts and activities including face painting and a new addition to the event, free train rides organised by Rotary Hamilton.

“We are still accepting donations such as garden plants, furniture and general garage sale items (nothing electrical though) which can be left outside the backdoor anytime,” Mr Frost said.
