THE Royal Hotel Portland held a bottomless cocktail party on Melbourne Cup Day, with a focus on raising funds to assist local men with prostate cancer.

Guests had two hours to eat and drink their fill, leading up to the official races which started at 3pm.

Money was raised from purchased tickets and raffles, and was donated to Rotary Club of Portland’s Beats Cycle for Hope, who support Portland and district families and carers of men facing prostate cancer.
