THE National Centre for Farmer Health (NCFH) will welcome the community to an Open Day on Thursday, November 21 to commemorate the opening of their new premises on Lonsdale Street, Hamilton.

Celebrating National Agriculture Day as well as the opening of the new office, the event presents fantastic opportunity to meet the dedicated team at NCFH, participate in a complimentary health assessment, and connect with others in the local agricultural community.

The ABC Country Hour will also be broadcasting live from the new premises.

There will be farmer health checks, hearing tests – courtesy of the Australian Hearing Team, respiratory nurse consultations, conversations with the Let’s Talk team to remove stigma of mental illness, and dry seasons and drought support information, where attendants can learn about the assistance available for farmers in the south west.

The free event will run from 11am-2pm at 115 Lonsdale Street, with lunch and light refreshments provided.
