THE Southern Grampians Shire Council (SGSC) Christmas Window Competition Judges Choice went to Brown Bird Haus, where owner, Deb Hintum said it has been an annual tradition of decorating the shop. “It’s lovely to be recognised – it’s been great to celebrate the festive season in Hamilton,” she said. HONOURABLE Mention went to Bellcourt Books, who decorated their shop window display with upcycled materials. “It’s all upcycled from old books, we’ve used pages from old books for the Merry Christmas sign and wrapped (presents) in paper from old books,” owner, Caitlin Little said. “We’ve had a lot fun doing the display.” Pictured is Bellcourt Books employee, Ellen Dix with owners, Caitlin Little and Cathy Taber.
COMMUNITY Choice went to Tosca Browns Café, where owner, Tim Storrie (second from left) said it was their first year doing a display, which reached up to the second floor. “We would just like to thank the community for their support, we wish everyone a Merry Christmas,” he said.
