THE Orford Vintage Rally is on again on the weekend of January 18-19, 2025, at the little township of Orford.
It is a display of vintage cars, trucks, tractors, stationary engines, motorcycles, tools, hay machinery, collectables, blade shearing, a beaut ute show, Hamilton Reenactment Society, blacksmithing (weather permitting) drinks and food available, and also stalls of bric-a-brac.
There’s a vintage tractor pull on display demonstration as well.
“It’s a great weekend for the whole family,” Southern Vintage Engine and Tractor Pull Association, president David Bartlett said.
“It’s in a bush setting on the Orford Sport’s Ground, Dick’s Road, Orford,” he said.
“This is the 29th year it has been running.
“It’s a great day out – it’s a family-oriented weekend.
“This year for the first time we will feature a vintage tillage display – we will be displaying from early days through to a couple of modern machines showing how technology has developed over the years.
“Come and have a wonderful day out.
“You never know what’s going to turn up – anything could turn up that people collect.”
Mr Bartlett said there was camping available for exhibitors.
“The entry fee to the event is $10 per person – under 16 and exhibitors are free,” he said.
“All exhibitors must have insurance.”
