A HOMERTON farmer is at a loss to know why three valuable rams at his sheep property were shot dead recently.

Keith Troeth, the livestock manager at long-established Belmore Pastoral, made an emotional plea after discovering the grisly finds around his property on February 4 – the shootings took place sometime between February 1 and 4.
