HAMILTON agents yarded 210 cattle last week comprising of 122 cows, 71 trade and 17 Bulls. The usual buyers were present and all active.

Last week saw more light weight cattle put forward, with steers under 300kg peaking at 718 cents and averaging 673c/kg, whilst 350-500kg averaged 500c/kg and the grown steers over 500kg returned 430c/kg. Light weight heifers less than 350kg topped at 502c, medium weights from 350-500kg reached 471c and the grown heifers over 500kg ranged from 328-425c/kg.
