THERE was a reduced yarding of 115 cattle on Friday, week comprising of 69 cows, 38 trade, and eight bulls, with all buyers present and active.

Friday saw a reduced number of trade cattle with only a single pen of light weight trade steers making to 582 cents per kilogram. Light weight trade heifers under 350kg at 450 cents to average 422 c/kg, a good line up of medium weights from 350-500 reached 500 c/kg and averaged 465 c/kg, and the grown heifers over 500kg made to 446 c/kg and averaged 421c/kg.
